The Black Crowes perform at Amphitheatre

The Black Crowes performed live last night in the St Augustine Amphitheatre as part of their “Lay Down with Number 13” tour. Historic City News special events photographer, Mark Cubbedge, was there to share the excitement with our readers.

The group recently ended a two-year hiatus, in fact, this is their first concert tour since that time. The last time the band performed at the Amphitheatre was in November 2008.They have sold more than 35 million albums and are known as one of rock’s best live acts.

Chris Robinson (lead vocals, guitar)
Rich Robinson (guitar, vocals)
Steve Gorman (drums)
Sven Pipien (bass)
Adam MacDougall (keyboards)
Jackie Greene (guitar, vocals)

Saturday night’s performance was their last for Florida this year.
