Local businesses and expo vendors will be setting up exhibit booths inside the Mall along with music, food, free giveaways, and a drawing for a flat-screen television. Morning coffee and afternoon pizza will be served at no charge.
“The Newstalk 102.3 WFOY Retirement Expo is a one-stop-shop for retirees and their families to find out about local services that can benefit their lives,” said Phillips Broadcasting President, Kris Phillips. “We will have hourly prize giveaways, and a chance to win a flat screen television provided by Sears.”
Phillips told Historic City News that a representative from the local Social Security Administration office will be on hand to answer questions about Social Security and Medicare benefits, as well as a representative from the Congressional office of Ron DeSantis.
Admission to the expo is free and WFOY listeners stay tuned to 102.3 FM for on the spot special bargains and discounts provided by expo vendors.
