Shea was taken from this life much too soon on July 8, 2010.
She graduated from Pedro Menendez High School this year and was planning to enter the U.S. Navy.
She worked part time at the Moultrie Creek Publix.
She loved life, her family and animals, especially horses and dogs. She seemed to have a special gift with animals.
She also enjoyed the beach and being on or around the water. She liked to go offshore fishing with her father and friends.
Burchfield had an infectious smile and beautiful bright eyes.
Her family and many friends will forever cherish every moment they shared with her, and will forever hold her precious memory within their hearts.
She leaves with her memory her father, Joseph G. “Joey” Burchfield; and his fiancé, Judy Scheier, both of St. Augustine; her mother, Kathy Ann Hughes of Belton, Texas; Laura Burchfield, of St. Augustine, who mothered her for many years; sisters, Haley Rose Burchfield, and Chelsea Nicole Christoffel, both of St. Augustine; paternal grandparents, Carl W. and Gloria J. Burchfield, of St. Augustine; paternal great grandmother, Ruby Glisson of Jacksonville; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Koonze, of Belton, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of arrangements.
