Elyse Brady invites Historic City News artists to submit their work and participate in the St Augustine Art Association 5th annual nature and wildlife art exhibition taking place July 26 through August 31, throughout the gallery at 22 Marine Street in St Augustine.
Cash prizes for artistic excellence totaling $5,000 will be awarded, including a $2,000 Best in Show.
Artists may submit up to three individual pieces before the deadline June 2, by paying the one-time online $45 registration by visiting www.staaa.org
Works in any medium that celebrate the beauty of the natural world are eligible, including wilderness and landscape images, birds, marine life and the diversity of creatures that inhabit the great outdoors.
A panel of art experts will select the pieces to be included in the exhibition, which will be judged for awards by Jenny Hager-Vickery, Associate Professor of Sculpture at the University of North Florida.
