Safe, fun, and convenient bicycle parking will be available for locals and visitors attending this week’s sold-out Jack Johnson show, according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.
Heather Neville reports that on May 20th, Velo Fest Community Initiative is partnering with the St. Augustine Amphitheatre to offer the bicycle valet service.
“We hope to keep the momentum going following Velo Fest’s three day bicycle festival,” Neville said in her announcement. “The valet service is free for concertgoers. The first 100 customers who park with the bicycle valet, will receive a special free canteen, courtesy of the Amphitheatre.”
The valet schedule, information about Velo Fest Community Initiative, and how the St. Augustine Amphitheatre is “going green” can be found at www.velofest.org. You can also learn how to be part of the movement and become a Veloteer.
Velo Fest Community Initiative, a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit, promotes awareness of bicycle safety, healthy lifestyles through cycling activities, environmental enhancements for safe cycling, historical and cultural awareness, and the economic impact that cycling brings communities through tourism and transportation for visitors.
