The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office feels that by providing educational materials to motorists as they enter DUI/Safety Checkpoints, the agency is achieving its commitment to highway safety by using both public education and enforcement measures; deterring impaired drivers and motorists from violating the traffic laws of this state.

On Friday and Saturday, March 14-15, 2008 from 10:00 PM to 1:00 A.M., a DUI/Safety Checkpoint was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office in the area of 545 A1A North.
