Residents in northeast St Johns County are getting a new branch office from St Johns County Sheriff David Shoar — and a new rent bill because they are leaving the county-owned annex on Palm Valley Road.
The same services that were previously available in the annex will still be available at the new field office; including copies of incident reports or to report non-emergency incidents, arrests or local background checks, traffic crash reports or traffic citations investigated and issued by the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office as well as parking and county citations.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Northeast Field Office will be relocated to 1106 A1A North Unit 105 on Monday, June 8, 2015. The new field office is in the privately owned Mickler’s Landing LLC shopping center; north of Mickler Road and southwest of SR-A1A.
In 1985, St Johns County purchased 275 front-feet on CR-210 to build a courthouse annex for the convenience of Ponte Vedra Beach and Palm Valley residents. The annex was completed in 1989 and expanded to its existing 4972 square-feet in 1991. All constitutional officers can and have shared space at the location over the past 20-years.
The phone number remains (904) 209-2215 and the office hours remain Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
