At least one male suspect is being sought in connection with two recent burglaries at the Royal St. Augustine Golf Course Clubhouse according to intelligence information received by Historic City News this afternoon.
The first burglary occurred shortly before 12:00 a.m. on September 5th when deputies responded to an alarm at the business. Deputies located an unsecured dining room door. Four bottles of liquor, valued at just under $100, was reported stolen. Damage was also reported to a cash register.
From surveillance images the suspect was described as a white male wearing shorts and flip flops, a long sleeve shirt with a hood and a beanie. The suspect was wearing a large back pack with a reflective rectangular design on the back.
The second burglary occurred shortly before 11:00 p.m. on September 20th. Entry was also gained through an unsecured door. Reported stolen was a $25 bottle of liquor. Two other bottles had been broken. The suspect appears to have a similar build as the first suspect. The second suspect was wearing tight fitting pants, shoes, and a thin hoodie jacket.
