This Saturday, March 12, 2016, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Historic City News readers will be allowed free admission to the Florida Agricultural Museum as part of Smithsonian Magazine’s annual “Museum Day Live!” program.
On this day only, participating museums across the United States emulate the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington DC-based facilities, which offer free admission every day, and open their doors for free to those who download a Museum Day Live! ticket.
The event represents Smithsonian’s commitment to make learning and the spread of knowledge accessible to everyone. Last year’s event drew over 400,000 participants, and this year’s event is expected to attract more museum goers than ever before.
Visitors who present the Museum Day Live! ticket will gain free entrance for two at participating venues for one day only. One ticket, per household, per email address is permitted.
Your ticket will gain entry only at the museum listed on your ticket. The Florida Agricultural Museum will also accept the ticket from your smart phone screen.
The ticket will be available to download immediately up to Saturday, March 12th. You must print your ticket and present it to receive your free admission or have it accessible on your mobile device.
