Historic City News was informed of two events this week at the real not-for-profit organization committed to enriching our lives through arts and culture, the St Augustine Art Association, going on Tuesday through Saturday, March 26th.
11th Annual High School Art Show
In partnership with St. Johns County School District, the Art Association presents the 10th Annual All-County High School Art Show featuring a selection of 150 student works of art. The materials range from experimental digital media and graphite studies to abstract pottery and sculptural assemblages.
Miniature Marvels Exhibit
The Art Association hosts a juried open media and subject exhibit of artists making their personal mark in this installation of works no larger than 15 inches. Small, but mighty, the individual pieces explore a wide range of subjects, ideas and materials.
Our readers can enjoy both events, free of charge, in the gallery located at 22 Marine Street in St. Augustine, Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Visit them on the web at: www.staaa.org
