Beach police arrest person of interest on new felony charges

The man wanted for questioning by St Augustine police in connection with a possible sexual battery that occurred last month, has been arrested on new drug related charges by the St Augustine Beach Police Department.

Moises Eduardo Bados-Zavala who gave his address as 9 Everest Street in St Augustine is in custody tonight in lieu of $10,500 bond; charged with possession of cocaine, a third-degree felony; and resisting a police officer, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Bados-Zavala was booked into the St Johns County Detention Faccility at just before 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. Historic City News will update this article Tuesday when the St Augustine Beach Police Department incident report is released.

There has been no update from the St Augustine Police Department.
