Police promotion: Sergeant Michael Castaing

MICHAEL T. CASTAING accepted the role of Sergeant, Operations which includes a Shift Patrol oversight.

Sergeant Castaing has been a member of the St Augustine Police Department since December 2001 after beginning his law enforcement career as a Correctional Officer in 1997.

Becoming a law enforcement officer was a lifelong dream for Sergeant Castaing and he has expressed that the strong comradery and tight bonds that exist throughout this department is one of the key reasons he is so committed to an extended career in St Augustine.

This is the Sergeant’s second promotion over the course of 15 years.
