Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
A1A – Bridge of Lions
Daytime bridge closure from 7:35 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. for the North Florida Bicycle Club Tour de Forts Classic.
A1A South
Nighttime lane closures Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from A Street to 11th Street to install electric poles.
A1A – Vilano Beach to Ponte Vedra Beach
Nighttime moving lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Carcaba Road in Vilano Beach to Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra Beach to install rumble stripes on the center and shoulder lines.
County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to a mile north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.
I-95
Nighttime southbound and northbound lane closures Sunday through Saturday (April 30) from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Old St. Augustine Road to County Road 210 to place asphalt for the State Road 9B project.
State Road 16
Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. two miles west of I-95 to install a turn lane for a new subdivision.
State Road 16 at Woodlawn Road
Turn-lane closures on State Road 16 and a road closure on Woodlawn Road Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to install concrete power poles. Detour is Lewis Speedway and Woodlawn Road.
State Road 206 – Crescent Beach Bridge
Daytime eastbound and westbound lane closures Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for routine bridge inspection.
U.S. 1/Philips Highway
Daytime lane closures Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Old St. Augustine Road to a mile south of State Road 9B for State Road 9B traffic signal work.
