Historic City News reporters will welcome “The Lynx” when it arrives at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina mid-afternoon on Thursday, November 11th.
The 122 ft. long tall sailing ship is a replica of an 1812 privateer.
According to St. Augustine Public Information Coordinator Cathy DuPont, The Lynx will spend the winter in St. Augustine.
The ship is operated by the Lynx Educational Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan, educational organization, dedicated to hands-on educational programs that teach the history of America’s struggle to preserve its independence.
