Community Awareness Coordinator Kim Brumfield announced to local reporters with Historic City News that the Betty Griffin House in St. Johns County will host “A Night in the Caribbean” on Saturday January 29, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at the Sawgrass Resort and Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach.
This colorful event promises to be an amazing night with silent and live auction items, including trips to some very tropical destinations at very affordable prices.
Dinner will be a mix of Jamaican, Cuban and Bahamian food stations along with a cash bar.
It’s a time to dress in your favorite Hawaiian shirt, flip flops or sundress and party with your friends while supporting the abused women, men and their minor children who are clients of Betty Griffin House; the private, nonprofit agency providing emergency shelter, counseling, forensic medical rape exams, and legal assistance in St. Johns County.
Tickets are $75 per person — or $600 for a table of 10.
Call Kim Brumfield at 904-808-8544 to reserve your seats today.
