Diane Lovell loses battle with cancer
Local Historic City News reporters have learned that former St. Johns County School Board Chairman, Veeda Diane (Wilson) Lovell, passed away last night after a battle with cancer.

Ponte Vedra Beach Resident John H. “Jay” Morris, who at the end of March had already raised 26,350.00 in campaign contributions and only spent $2,500, has his hand out again — this time serving wine and hors d’oeuvres in the ballroom of The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club for a suggested donation of $50 a person.
