Art Association certifies volunteer docents
The St. Augustine Art Association recently held its 2016 Docent Certification Training program on Saturday, January 30, at 22 Marine Street. Thirty volunteers attended the three-hour luncheon presentation according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.

Annual Flight to Freedom heritage event this weekend
Volunteers from Florida Living History, Inc., in partnership with Fort Mose Historic State Park and Fort Mose Historical Society, will participate in retelling the saga of travelers fleeing from the tyranny of English slavery in the Carolinas and Georgia to freedom in Spanish Florida on America’s first “Underground Railroad” on February 13, 2016.
