St. Johns County Public Affairs Specialist Karen Pan reported to Historic City News that the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners adopted revised Board Rules and Policies during the regular meeting on Tuesday, February 17.

Historic City News was notified by Liz Daube, Flagler College Media Specialist, that Hmong-American writer Kao Kalia Yang will be the next speaker at Flagler College’s Writers-in-Residence program on March 2nd at 5:00 p.m. in the Gamache-Koger Theater.

Homes built after 1982 are required to have R-19 ceiling insulation, which is the level that FPL recommends. However, if your home was built before 1982, chances you will benefit from adding insulation.

Charles Mulligan reported to Historic City News today that Deputy Samantha English, curious about a suspicious van in the St. Augustine Wal-Mart parking lot this morning, found a 60-year-old man apparently living in the filthy vehicle with a 12-year-old girl who said she was his daughter.
