Letter: Shaver sees through new eyes

St Augustine, FL
Dear Editor:
I first became acquainted with Nancy Shaver through letters to the editor she wrote to shed light on several issues being debated in our city. I was struck by her exhaustive research, together with her straightforward, objective reporting of the facts.

Brittany McDermott informed local Historic City News reporters that on Saturday night, October 25th, Anastasia State Park will be transformed into a frightful and fun enchanted forest; complete with an old-fashioned haunted hayride down one of the camping loops.
Judy Dembowski, the Executive Director of St. Francis House, reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County Assistant County Administrator, Jerry Cameron, has been gathering treasures for the emergency shelter in St Augustine.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
