St. Augustine Fire Department Capt. Robert Growick received a $1,000 donation from the St. Augustine Lions Club’s president, Wayne Mancil, for the purchase of smoke detectors for the hearing impaired during Monday night’s commission meeting, and Historic City News was there.

The 20th Annual Gamble Rogers Music Festival will feature six stages this weekend, May 2-3, bringing dozens of celebrated artists to the Ancient City during this celebration of the late Gamble Rogers.
