In a deal set to close on May 15th, Ed Swift IV, Chief Operating Officer of Historic Tours of America, informed local Historic City News reporters that the attraction operator will acquire Potter’s Wax Museum; a landmark established in St Augustine in 1948.

The St Johns County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors reported to Historic City News this evening that they have voted to remove the “interim” tag from Isabelle Rodriguez’s title, and they have officially selected her to serve as the next President.

Historic City News continues to be informed that St Johns County’s administration, and their $91,511.13 a year Director of Economic Development, Melissa Glasgow, have been “earning their keep” from the economic impact generated by a couple of new businesses that they have been able to lure to town.

Shawn and Kathy Hiester are continuing their search for a location to house an 8,000 square-foot marine aquarium; even though neither one of them has ever operated such an attraction, nor, as reported by Historic City News this weekend, have they been received with open arms by members of the Lincolnville community.
