28 year-old arrested on 27 child porn charges

28 year-old Kevin Louis Culmone, who resides on Birchwood Drive in Palm Coast, was arrested at his home by Flagler County Sheriff’s Detectives late Friday afternoon; charged with 27 counts of possession of child pornography according to a local news report received by Historic City News.

Detective Elizabeth Conrad launched an investigation in August into allegations that Culmone had visited child pornography sites on the Internet.

Detective Conrad received the tip about Culmone’s activities from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Cyber Tipline.

Public Information Officer Debra Johnson reported to Historic City News that Culmone was booked into the Flagler County Inmate Facility and released Sunday after posting a $50,000 appearance bond on the child pornography charges.

“These are heinous crimes which exploit innocent children,” said Sheriff Donald W. Fleming. “The seriousness of these charges cannot be overstated and it is important that their prosecution is taken to the fullest extent possible,”
