Barbecue picnic and political rally Saturday

An old fashioned barbecue picnic and political rally is be held Saturday afternoon; hosted by the Republican Club of Ponte Vedra Beach.

Members and guests are asked to make a $5 donation and to bring a new applicant for club membership.

Saturday’s picnic will follow the business meeting and annual elections of officers.

Barbecue pulled pork, smoked turkey, baked beans, slaw, “all the fixins” and other refreshments will be served from noonish until 3:00 p.m., or until the food runs out.

The event will be held at The Players Community Center located at 175 Landrum Lane in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Candidates for office in the upcoming Republican Primary Election on August 24th have been invited to attend and speak, so, come early and get some great barbecue — come late and get a warm handshake and a smile.
