Renee Stambaugh, President of the Sea Oats Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society informed Historic City News local reporters that “Wildflowers of Florida” will be the program for the October 12th meeting of the Florida Native Plant Society.
The local Sea Oats chapter meets at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall.
There are dozens of Florida native wildflowers available to add color, seasonal interest and life to your landscape. With thoughtful planning and preparation, you can plant and enjoy Florida wildflowers for years to come.
Terry Zinn of Florida Wildflowers Growers Cooperative is the featured presenter.
This program is free and open to the public. Wildflower seeds will be available and prizes include native plants donated by Leonardi’s Nursery and Southern Horticulture.
