St Johns County facilities holiday schedule

Government Television and Public Information spokesman Rob Weber reported to Historic City News the following Christmas and New Year’s Holiday schedule for various St. Johns County facilities:

County Offices
All offices of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will be closed Thursday and Friday, December 23 and 24. Normal hours will resume on Monday, December 27. All offices will also be closed on Friday, December 31, for the New Year’s Holiday. Normal hours will resume on Monday, January 3, 2011.

Library
All branches of the St. Johns County Public Library System will close at 6 pm on Wednesday, December 22, and will remain closed through Sunday, December 26. All branches will resume normal operating hours on Monday, December 27. All branches will also close at 6 pm on Friday, December 31, and will remain closed until Monday, January 3, 2011.

Solid Waste
There will be no change to garbage, recycling or yard debris pickup over the Christmas and New Year Holiday. All collections will be made on their normal day.

Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre will be open every day through January 2, but with special hours on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. On Christmas, Winter Wonderland will be open from 5-11 pm. Normal hours of operation will resume on Sunday, December 26. Winter Wonderland will be open on New Year’s Eve from 12-5 pm, with normal hours resuming on New Year’s Day.

Pet Center
The St. Johns County Pet Center will be closed Thursday, December 23 through Sunday December 26. Normal hours will resume on Monday, December 27. The Pet Center will also be closed on Friday, December 31 and Saturday, January 1, 2011, for the New Year’s Holiday. Normal hours will resume on Monday, January 3, 2011.
