St. Johns County Chamber Of Commerce President, Robin Burchfield, reported to local news source Historic City News that County Administrator Michael Wanchick was the featured speaker at the recent meeting of the Southwest Business Council.
“The Southwest Business Council is growing and building an identity in the Hastings area, including Elkton, Spuds and Vermont Heights,” Birchfield said. “They are active in the building, development and revitalization of the area.”
The March 9th Business Council meeting was held at the Courtyard Marriott Bistro on SR-16. The topic covered by Wanchick was “A Financial Overview of the County”.
Southwest Business Council Events are held at 8:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of the month and are open to St. Johns County Chamber members and their guests who have a professional or general interest in this area.
The next meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13th, in the Courtyard Marriott Bistro located at 2075 SR-16 in St. Augustine.
