The St. Johns County Education Foundation informed Historic City News today that they are welcoming their newest Board Member, Peggy Gachet.
Gachet worked with Delta Air Lines for 16 years in areas of public contact, customer service, sales, marketing and managing in a total of five cities.
She moved permanently to St. Augustine in 1994 and started her new career in Real Estate Sales. Gachet has been recognized as a top producing sales person at Watson Reality every year since 1995 and opened the Watson Realty’s St. Augustine Beach office in 2002.
Gachet heard about the Foundation through Dr. Joseph Joyner’s key communicator’s group.
“Schools have been a direct impact on real estate values, which is my chosen profession,” said Gachet.
She is also active in Anastasia Baptist Church, Communities in Schools, the St. Augustine Rotary Club and the Flagler Healthcare Foundation through the Marsh Creek Connectors Counsel.
Gachet, who is creative in problem solving and business sales, will assist the Foundation in raising funds for its numerous efforts within the community.
