As Historic City News seeks out exciting news stories, we find few things as exciting as the birth of a new baby girl, but, for Ian Gregoire and his wife Ashley Wiles Gregoire, the birth of their daughter Olivia Isabelle Gregoire tops their list.
Flagler Hospital was the scene of great celebration Monday night at 8:44 p.m., when “Livvie”, all 5 lbs, 5 oz, and 18 inches of her, joined three generations of her longtime St. Augustine family.
Ashley’s sister, professional photographer Lindsay Wiles Gramana, said that it was heartwarming for her to watch everyone in her family as they got to know the new addition.
Lindsay says the first memory of her new niece is her endearing, soft, high-pitched cry; which has already earned her the nickname “Pipsqueak”.
Ashley and Lindsay’s parents, Doug and Doris Wiles, were beaming as they were introduced to their first grandchild, and, Doug’s parents, Herbie and Annette Wiles, were proudly oohing and ahhing over their first great-grandchild.
All four generations of the family make their homes here in St. Augustine.
Lindsay has added many pictures to her facebook photo album.
