Protest and candlelight vigil Saturday
Media contact Danielle Fountain reported to Historic City News that “Occupy St Augustine” would meet in front of city hall on Saturday, December 17th, from Noon until 9:00 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the protest and candlelight vigil, Fountain said. “We will take our complaints to City Hall.”
Participants will gather on the north lawn of the first floor of City Hall in front of the Lightner Museum located at 75 King Street in St Augustine.
According to the report, there will be a candle light vigil for all those who have been injured during confrontations as well as those who have been injured and killed during fights for civil rights — protesters and police alike.
