Palm Coast Events Coordinator Lisa Gardner informed Historic City News that the heart and soul of William E. ‘Wild Bill’ Walker will be felt tomorrow all across the park at Rock n Rib Fest.
Walker was killed last week when his Yak 52 plummeted to the ground during an acrobatic exhibition at “Wings over Flagler”.
The fallen pilot will be honored by fellow Red Thunder pilots at Rock n Rib Fest on Saturday, April 9th when they pay tribute with a “fly over” scheduled for around 5:00 p.m.
The second annual Rock n Rib Fest will be held from noon until 10:00 p.m. in Central Park at Town Center in Palm Coast.
Central Park is located north of SR-100 and Flagler-Palm Coast High School at Bulldog Drive.
