Ten hours of live musical entertainment, pig races, exhibitor booths and a fireworks finale promise to bring a huge crowd Saturday for Historic City News readers attending Rock n Rib Fest in Palm Coast.

Headliner Mickey Thomas, whose soaring voice propelled STARSHIP through the ’80’s and ‘90’s, made his mark in 1976 as lead vocalist on the mega-hit “Fooled Around and Fell In Love” with The ELVIN BISHOP Band.
Thomas joined JEFFERSON STARSHIP in the late ‘70’s. After the departure of Grace Slick and Marty Balin and armed with this new sound and powerful vocals, the group was renamed STARSHIP and continued to record an amazing string of hits including “JANE”, “NO WAY OUT”, “WE BUILT THIS CITY”, “SARA”, Oscar nominated hit “NOTHING GONNA STOP US NOW” from the movie “MANNEQUIN”, and “IT’S NOT OVER TILL IT’S OVER” which in 1987 became the theme of Major League Baseball.
A great day of music is in store with featured entertainers, including high energy superhero rock from the 80’s to present day, performed by Spandex Superheros in perfect sync with the original music videos.
Sharon Resnikoff is an award winning songwriter who has performed in theatres, clubs, coffeehouses and festivals from Gamble Roger’s Folk Festival in St. Augustine to The Billy Block Show in Hollywood to the BlueBird Café in Nashville.
Local all acoustic rock music group Old Haw Creek from Flagler County and Run Rhino deliver first class musicianship to audiences yearning for a true rock sound. Also appearing, NICKOLOFF with their original tried, true, memorable, fresh, fun, and exciting music.
