Teenager arrested in child pornography case
Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local reporters with Historic City News that deputies in Flagler County executed a search warrant and have arrested a 19 year-old Palm Coast man; charging him with two counts of promoting the sexual performances of a child.
Tristan Lancaster, a large frame, 6′ 2″ tall 205 pound teenager, who lives at 32 Pebble Stone Lane was arrested at his Palm Coast home this morning following an investigation that was launched in December 2010 by the State Attorney General’s Child Predator Cybercrime Unit.
Investigators from the FBI, the Florida Attorney General’s Office and Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reported that on at least one occasion in December, child pornography was downloaded from the Internet to a computer at 8 Fanwood Court in Palm Coast.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and seized Lancaster’s computer. Two videos were found depicting child pornography. During an interview at the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, Lancaster admitted to accessing the videos while staying at the Fanwood Court home from mid-November 2010 until mid-March 2011.
“Law enforcement officials nationwide are going to remain vigilant in tracking and identifying child pornography users and producers,” said Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming. “I am pleased we were able to assist in this case.”
Lancaster was booked into the Flagler County Inmate Facility Tuesday afternoon with a total bond set at $20,000 on the two felony charges.
