Many Historic City News readers who follow local government have made it a practice to read the St. Johns County Update from County Administrator Michael D. Wanchick — now that communication is being pulled.
Scott Abrams, Director of the Shipwreck Theatre Company and Conservatory announced to local Historic City News reporters that auditions for their debut performance are being held tomorrow, September 18th, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Northeast Region coordinator Amber Weiss invited Historic City News readers to participate when Florida Public Archaeology Network holds Cemetery Resource Protection Training on September 27, 2011.


Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through September 23rd

Florida Senate President, Mike Haridopolos, announced his appointment of St. Augustine Senator John Thrasher to Historic City News yesterday; saying that Thrasher will be one of his three picks to decide the date when Florida will hold its Presidential Primary Election.
