Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in St Augustine has extended an invitation for Historic City News readers to attend the 15th Annual Greek Festival; being held in Francis Field on Castillo Drive.
Savor the aromas and flavors of freshly prepared Greek food and pastries and enjoy costumed dancers performing to the music of a live Greek band; going on October 12, 13, 14.
“The Holy Trinity Festival is truly a labor of love by our parishioners,” Parish priest, Rev. George Ioannou told Historic City News. “Months of preparation go into the planning and presentation of this event.”
Food, music and dancing are not the only attractions offered at this festival This three day cultural event provides an opportunity for the church to share their culture and faith with the St Augustine community. Visitors can learn more about the Orthodox faith and its culture at the Inquiry Booth.
Come see why this is one of St Augustine’s largest annual community events and celebrate the Greek culture which is an integral part of St Augustine’s history.
Admission is $2. A portion of the proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.
