Barack Obama vs Roseanne Barr

Barack Obama vs Roseanne Barr

Historic City News readers will soon choose who to select for President of the United States; but they will have to choose between more than just Barack Obama and Mitt Romney — in fact twelve-pair of would-be president/vice-president candidate’s names will appear on the ballot, plus a blank line to select one of six additional write-in candidates.

Television and movie comedienne Roseanne Barr even made the ballot this year representing the “Peace and Freedom Party of California”.

In the November 6 General Election, voters can cast their ballot for anyone they choose, regardless of party affiliation. So, although Romney and Obama are the better-known Republican and Democrat contestants, they are not the only candidates in the race. Other party candidates represent the Objectivist Party, Libertarian Party, Constitution Party of FL, Green Party, Reform Party, Socialist Party of FL, Party Socialism and Liberation-FL, Peace and Freedom Party of CA, America’s Party of FL, and the Justice Party of FL.
