Dementia patient located in New York

Kevin Kelshaw, Media Relations Officer for the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office, informed Historic City News that, last night, Ronald Pariso, the 77-year-old man missing from Julington Creek, had been located in good condition.

According to his Fruit Cove area caregiver, Pariso, who suffers from dementia, was picked up by a Duval County car rental company Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m.; launching a Silver Alert from Florida to New York.

Pariso, was located in good condition in Elmira, New York with relatives and the Silver Alert has been canceled, Kelshaw told reporters.
