Employee crashes car and collapses at wheel

Traffic Homicide Investigator, Deputy J.D. McGinnis, reported to Historic City News that the Sheriff’s Traffic Unit responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash in the parking lot of the Jack Wilson Chevrolet Dealership located at 2255 US-1 South earlier this evening.

The victim, Anthony J. Falandys III, 59 years-old, of Vilano Beach had just finished detailing a 2012 Chevrolet Impala Sedan, and was parking it on the sales lot when he struck a building.

Another employee found the victim; unconscious and not breathing, then started CPR.

Falandys was taken to Flagler Hospital where he remains on Life-Support at this time. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
