Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
State Road 13:Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from County Road 16A to Roberts Road for tree trimming.
State Road 16:Crews are scheduled to repaint the roadway lines from the Clay County line to US 1. This is a slow moving operation.
State Road 207: Daytime lane closures from the Putnam County line to US 1 while crews repaint the roadway markings.
State Road 312: Traffic has been shifted on the eastbound lanes of the Mickler-O’Connell Bridge over the Matanzas River. Motorists should use caution while driving in the area as crews repair and repaint the bridge. Pedestrians are advised to avoid the east bridge. Also, crews are scheduled to repaint the roadway lines from US 1 to State Road A1A, excluding the construction zone over the State Road 312 eastbound bridge. This is a slow moving operation.
State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from Vilano Road in Vilano Beach to Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra for bike lane cleaning and from the Guana Reserve north parking lot to Mickler Road for tree trimming.
State Road A1A:Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez.
US 1: Daytime lane closures and lane shifts with reduced speed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday from one mile north of I-95 to six miles north of I-95 for work on a communications tower at 9355 US 1 South.
US 1: Nighttime lane closures for both northbound and southbound traffic from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the San Sebastian River Bridge from Saragossa Street to King Street for the bridge replacement project. Southbound traffic has recently shifted onto the new bridge. Also, crews are scheduled to repaint the roadway lines from the Flagler County line to State Road 16, excluding the construction zone at the US 1 San Sebastian River Bridge. This is a slow moving operation.
