Free concert at pier tonight

Saint Augustine Beach Civic Association invited Historic City News readers to the Music by the Sea concert tonight with entertainment provided by the Orion Navy Band in the open-air Pier Pavilion.

Admission is free and you can enjoy the eighteen-piece Jazz ensemble at the St Johns County Pier Park located at St Augustine Beach.

Tonight’s dinner is catered by Amici’s Italian Restaurant and will be offered for sale beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Orion performs a wide variety of music from traditional Big Band classics to contemporary Jazz, sizzling Latin to Motown. With high caliber vocals and dynamic soloists, this versatile group has entertained tens-of-thousands of audiences at numerous festivals, schools, and military events throughout the Southeast region.
