An experienced birder will host a guided bird walk on September 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Fort Mose Historic State Park, according to an announcement received by Historic City News from Terri Newmans.
Enthusiasts will find a variety of herons, egrets, wood storks, hawks and owls, and are encouraged to bring binoculars and a field guide. Birders of all levels are invited. The event is weather permitting.
There is no fee for this program. There is a museum entry fee of$2.00 per person; however, museum entry is not required to participate in the program.
Guests who require assistance should contact park staff at (904) 823-2232 before arrival. Accessible parking is provided throughout the park.
