Molasses Junction Tea Party hears candidates

When the Molasses Junction Tea Party holds their regular meeting next Wednesday, October 10, 2012, Historic City News has been informed that candidates for the remaining County Commission contests will address the members and guests.

If you are planning to attend this free event, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Molasses Junction Country Store; located at 6300 CR-214 in St Augustine.

This is a forum for candidates in the District 1 and District 5 county commission races who will appear on the ballot in St Johns County on November 6, 2012.

According to the announcement, the following candidates are confirmed to appear:

District 1

Cyndi Stevenson – Incumbent Commissioner
Merrill Roland – Challenger

District 5

Randy Brunson
Rachael Bennett – Declined to appear.
