Communications Manager Michael Ryan reported to Historic City News that the Northeast Florida Regional Council would host a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 6 at the St Johns County Agricultural Center located at 3125 Agricultural Center Drive in St Augustine.
The meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to learn about the Northeast Florida Strategic Regional Policy Plan and provide input on the current draft.
The Plan is the region’s long-range guide for the physical, economic, and social development of the region and covers such vital community issues as affordable housing, emergency preparedness, natural resources of regional significance, and regional transportation.
The Northeast Florida Regional Council is committed to producing a plan that is of true benefit to local governments and residents and appreciates community assistance in reaching this goal.
