Tomorrow’s Vice Presidential campaign stop in St Augustine will necessitate some street closures in the vicinity of the Ketterlinus Gymnasium according to an alert received by Historic City News this morning.
Doors will open for the free event at 11:00 a.m., when Democrat Joe Biden will stump for the re-election of President Obama on Saturday, October 20 at the Ketterlinus Gym located at 60 Orange Street in St Augustine.
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until 3:00 p.m., St Augustine Police will manage traffic in the area.
Riberia Street; from Orange Street to West Castillo Drive, and, Orange Street; from Sevilla Street to Riberia Street, will be closed during the entire event. Police will assist property owners who need to access their property. Plan accordingly and determine alternate routes, if possible.
Access to the Historic Downtown Parking Facility will not be affected by the event.

To pick up your free ticket, visit one the local Obama Florida Campaign office located at 3149 N Ponce de Leon Boulevard from 9:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m. today and from 8:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, or call 904-382-2468.
One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
