The North Pole Telephone Company has reported to Historic City News in St Augustine that parents and guardians of local children, under the age of eight, can sign up now to have Santa call their child at home this Christmas season.
According to the report, Santa will be making telephone calls to St Johns County children between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. from December 11 – 13.
“This annual program is free and available to residents thanks to volunteers from the St Johns County Recreation and Parks Department,” Jamie Baccari told reporters.
Making the “good” side of “naughty and nice” list is easy. You can obtain a phone call request form from www.sjcfl.us/youth and return the completed form by e-mail to jbaccari@sjcfl.us Request forms are also available at the St Johns County Recreation Department main office located at 2175 Mizell Road in St Augustine.
Baccari cautioned parents not to delay; because Santa is busy checking his list and needs all completed forms by 5:00 p.m. on December 7. For more information, call 904.209.0377.
