Dianne Jacoby announced an exciting and entertaining fall lineup for the traveling theatre troupe, St George Players; who have scheduled performances for the fall and holiday seasons at the Spanish Bakery.
Parading about St George Street, in the heart of the Colonial Spanish Quarter, with sign, bell, and drum; the players announce their performances and invite the public to join in.
“We are pleased to present you with the finest of 16th century Spanish comedy,” Jacoby told reporters. “These interludes appeal to the common man — as did the groundling plays of William Shakespeare.”
Lavish tapestries decorate the performance area, where the audience enjoys history and laughter through the short plays.
