Michael Rosenberger told Historic City News local business reporters that American Restaurant Concepts, Inc., a publically traded restaurant operator and franchisor headquartered in Jacksonville, expects to open its third Dick’s Wings restaurant in St Augustine later this year.
Fifteen of the company’s eighteen sports-themed restaurant locations are in Florida; with one restaurant located in Georgia and two more located in Canada. There are 16 full-service Dick’s Wings & Grill family-friendly restaurants as well as two Dick’s Wings Express locations.
“The growth of our restaurants in St. Augustine has been remarkable,” Rosenberger told reporters yesterday. “St Augustine has always been great to us — the continued interest we have been receiving from potential franchisees has been wonderful and is how the newest restaurant in St Augustine came about.”
The Company’s second St Augustine restaurant opened earlier this year and is currently generating tens of thousands of dollars in revenue each month, according to Rosenberger.
The company is known for the 365 original mouth-watering flavors it has created for its premium-grade chicken wings. Chicken wings at Dick’s Wings & Grill have won numerous awards in Florida and Georgia, including having been voted “Best Chicken Wings in Northeast Florida” for 12 consecutive years by Folioweekly magazine.
Rosenberger told reporters that American Restaurant Concepts credits heightened publicity during 2012 for the substantial increase in the number of inquiries from persons interested in opening Dick’s Wings restaurants in Florida and elsewhere in the United States.
“We are in various stages of negotiations with several people regarding the opening of new Dick’s Wings restaurants and expect to announce additional agreements for the establishment of new restaurants in the coming months.”
