Historic City News readers are being asked to come forward and claim a $5,000 reward if they have any information about the murder of a Palm Coast mother who was gunned down on her job at the Mobil Mart at I-95 and SR-100 by a killer who apparently had no other motive.
Lieutenant Bob Weber has provided shocking video to Historic City News that documents the fatal attack against 32-year-old Zuheily Roman Rosado, who lived at 601 Madison Green Circle in Palm Coast.
The murder happened at about 10:09 p.m. on the evening of February 21, by a man who approached and entered the convenience store with his shirt pulled up, concealing his face from surveillance cameras.
In less than 30 seconds, and with clear and deliberate purpose, the man walks into the store, runs up to the counter, shoots Rosado, and then turns and runs out of the store. He does not handle any merchandise, he does not attempt to snatch money from the register or take anything of value — except the life of the mother of six children.
Flagler County Sheriff’s investigators have been unable to establish a motive for the killing and have said that it would not be prudent to speculate as to what the motive may have been.
He appears to have arrived and departed the store alone and on foot.
An account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank under the name of “Zuheily Rosado Memorial Fund”. Donations are being accepted at any Wells Fargo Branch. They are in dire need of money by 3:00 p.m. Tuesday to pay for funeral expenses.
