Rhythm and Ribs Festival Chair Bobbie-Jo Manning told Historic City News reporters that at yesterday’s breakfast meeting of the St Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club, Letti Bozard presented the local non-profit community service organization with a sponsorship check from Bozard Ford in the amount of $18,000.
Club President Danny Page joined Manning to accept the donation on behalf of the many charities supported by the Sunrise Rotary Club.
“The Club is extremely pleased to welcome Bozard Ford back to the Rhythm and Ribs Festival for another year as our Title Sponsor,” Page told reporters and members attending the meeting at the River House.
Page also thanked Bozard, who is the third generation of the Bozard family to work at the local dealership, for her membership in Rotary and her commitment to the Club’s motto, “Service above Self”.
This year is the inaugural festival opening event — “A Celebration of Community”. The VIP function will bring all the event sponsors together with representatives from the area charities that are supported by the popular entertainment and barbecue competition. Historic City News is proud to be one of many Rhythm and Ribs Festival sponsors.
Bozard told those in attendance that Bozard Ford sees the festival, and especially the added Celebration of Community, as great events for our community.
