An ongoing investigation into child pornography produced sufficient evidence to obtain a search warrant; after detectives determined someone in the home at 3335 Pacetti Road in St Augustine was involved in obtaining child pornography from the Internet.
The warrant was executed earlier today by deputies assigned to the Special Victims and Cyber Crimes Section of the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office
48-year-old John Charles Price was taken into custody after investigators located evidence of child pornography on his personal computer. Price was charges with 51-counts of possession of obscene material; each count is a third-degree felony.
He was booked in the St Johns County Detention Facility at the Neil J Perry Criminal Justice Center without incident; where he remains without bond.
The Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Cyber Crimes Unit, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, are continuing the joint child pornography investigation.
