Gwendolyn Duncan announced to Historic City News today that guests of the annual July 2nd ACCORD luncheon in St Augustine, and their families, are invited to participate in a complimentary Freedom Trail Tour presented by Northrop Grumman.
At 9:00 a.m., on July 2, 2013, guests of the luncheon will board the chartered Old Town Trolley at the tour stop in front of the Lightner Museum located at 75 King Street in St Augustine.
“The special two-hour tour of thirty-one markers on the Freedom Trail tells the stories and marks the sites relevant to the Civil Rights Movement in St. Augustine,” Duncan told reporters. “David Nolan, local historian and author, will narrate the tour as we travel the trail where history was made.”
If you would like to participate in this commemoration of the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, there is limited seating, so call Liz at (904) 347 1382 for reservations.
